KitchenAid mixer hops on the Subway {art}
I honestly didn’t think it was possible to love my mixer any more than I already did.
But then Shelley had to go and create this Subway art for my KitchenAid.
Seriously, it’s giving me anxiety just looking at it. I want to smother it with hugs and kisses.
I’m trying really hard to be more bold with my color choices, so I chose bright yellow instead of black. I’m gearing up to paint my kitchen gray with yellow accents to go with my Rodney White art and OMG I just love the way it turned out.
I do want to point out one thing about this mixer vinyl though…
Do you see that black screw on the side? The vinyl sat on top of that screw and it just wasn’t sticking very well (because the screw is a different height than the mixer). I just grabbed a little utility knife and carefully cut the vinyl off the screw and then used a toothpick to smooth the vinyl edges out and kinda tuck them under the screw. I like the way it looks so much better and I’m not afraid of it falling off now.
I {heart} vinyl. And I especially {heart} my new bright yellow mixer subway vinyl.
I bought and paid for this vinyl. Wonderfully Wordy does not advertise with House of Hepworths. I’m simply promoting something that I am head-over-heels in love with.

Very clever use of vinyl. I like the yellow and I am not very color savvy.
Wow, she has really reasonable prices too. And the Curly Sue is a cute one…it would look nice in white on my red mixer.
I *know* a mixer dressed up like this will garner a whole lot of comments from my friends!
Who would have ever thought to plaster something cute on your KitchenAid?? darling!
Love the subway art! I’ve previously blogged about different ways to decorate and flame out your KA. Hmm, perhaps I should set up a McKlinky.
Your butter yellow is fabulous!
Happy baking and cookin’!
I LUV it too!! Great color choice, I think! I am asking for a mixer for Christmas.
That looks great!!
I was so excited when this post came up. I had seen that someone had their hubby paint theirs. So last night I sat and Googled.I was excited at what I found. Now I have to think if I just want to leave mine white and add vinyl or paint and of course add vinyl. My new 34″ cutter will be here next week so exciting.
Here is a link to the blog I found last night with the painting tips.

Wow! I would love that in my kitchen as well. Alas! No kitchen aid mixer here!! Sigh!
And I wouldn’t use it if I did have it…honest here….Ha!
Love yours though and the yellow is wonderful

I do love it!! And the yellow will look good with your lemonade picture!
I am excited to see how it hold up! I am super messy with my mixer!
