Guest Blogger: A Simply Klassic Home

Hi I’m Kristin and I blog over at A Simply Klassic Home! I’m so excited to be guest posting at House of Hepworths!!

I am a single, adoptive Mama of two beautiful children, Riley and Cooper, who are 2 and 3 years old. Yup, 13 months apart and they certainly keep me on my toes!

A Simply Klassic Home is all about finding my style and my journey to creating a home that I love. Since purchasing my first home a few years ago, I’ve struggled to really “find” my style, and blogging has given me such inspiration and motivation for creating inviting and comfortable spaces for my family. I love to share my projects, and thanks to blogging there have been a lot of them! Of course, I also share bits and pieces of our crazy life, some recipes and great inspiration that I’ve found along the way. You will also find free printables, and a few blogging tips and tricks, as well as my affordable blog design services.

I recently completed two room makeovers. The first I’m going to share with you is my master bedroom. I wanted a space that was peaceful, calm, and soothing, and I’m so pleased that that is exactly what I created!

This was the first room I designed from start to finish, and let me tell you, I had so much fun doing it all myself!!

A few of the projects I completed for this room: Bench Makeover, Printing on Fabric, and my Nightstand Transformations.

While that probably wasn’t the most frugal room makeover that it could have been, this next room makeover certainly is! For my daughter’s room , I pretty much started from scratch. Since adopting her a couple of months ago, I hadn’t really had a chance to give her a space of her own, much less furnish it. With a budget of merely $200, I transformed our office into a sweet space for my sweet girl.

The final project I’m going to share with you is my minute makeover in my Living Room. I’m all about simple design (did you guess that from the title of my blog?) and love it when a quick transformation makes a BIG impact!

Case in point, my recent living room makeover. There just wasn’t enough summer in my house, so one Saturday morning I decided that a few quick changes were in order!
