I’m a also a full time special education teacher, grad school student, wannabe gardener, fried okra lover, lip gloss connoisseur, and I really don’t like olives. Did I mention I love interior design and all things thrifty 🙂 Check out C.R.A.F.T. on facebook and twitter too!

With the help of my wonderful BF, we build things like this floating desk:

Organization makes me happy…check out my DIY junk drawer organizer:

and free projects are my favorite…like these cereal box business cards

And if you feel like taking a road trip this summer be sure to check out these 26 cities in the United States…Each city has a list of 10, fun, free, family friendly things to do 🙂 And to document your trip whip up an interactive travel map!
Thanks, Allison, for having me today 🙂 Happy Summer!

  1. I am SOOOO doing the drawer organizer thing. I hate the baskets that I have in my junk drawer in my kitchen and the brush drawer in my bathroom. I think I may also be doing this for my utensils drawer in my kitchen. I am also gonna figure out how to may a “lift out” for that same drawer. Thanks for the great idea!!!!!!!!!

  2. Jamie, I have been following C.R.A.F.T for awhile now but didn’t realize you were a special ed teacher! I have a 14 year old w/ autism and cerebral palsy who has been blessed to have some awesome special ed teachers over the years. Special ed teachers will always have a special place in my heart! 🙂

  3. Coley, i’m about to start my 4th school year, and i love it 🙂

Allison, thanks for having me…hope you have a wonderful and safe rest of your road trip!
