Chocolate Bar Toffee. Delicious easy to make treat for the Holiday season.

I served this Chocolate Bar Toffee to all the shoppers at the Kirkland's Grand Opening Event last week. It was a huge hit and I want to share the recipe with you guys now. (Don't forget to go enter the giveaway for a $100 gift card to Kirkland's!) This Toffee is so stinkin' easy to make. I don't generally enjoy cooking and baking, but I do enjoy delicious food, so when I do bake, it better be an easy recipe that is extra yummy. I have no patience for mediocre recipes. To make this Toffee, you only need 6 ingredients. It is that easy. The only tricky part about the entire recipe is you have … [Read more...]

Fall wreath updated for Winter

Back in September I created a Martha knock-off wreath for Fall... I was going to take it down now that it's Winter, but I really like it and am not ready to hide it away until next Fall. I went to Hob-Lob and bought two beady picks for .50ยข each. I took both of them and just wrapped them together so the beads faced away from each other. I literally just wedged the beady stuff in between the ribbon and the wreath. (I changed the ribbon out as well). Now I've got a wreath that will last through the Winter as well. It was an easy cheap fix to make my wreath last … [Read more...]

Christmas Tree vinyl gets framed

Last week I showed you the adorable Christmas Tree vinyl Shelley sent me and asked for suggestions on how I should use it. Here's how Shelley used it: After thinking about it for a week, I finally decided that I really did like it framed. I went to my stash and found an empty 8x10 frame. But it wasn't really that cute or very Christmas-y, so I decided to give it a makeover! I gave it a good coat of spray paint primer and then finished it off with Krylon silver spray paint. I still wanted a little more oomph though. What do you think of when you … [Read more...]

Pinecone framed artwork

I finally get to use my pinecones I've been saving since March! For this project I used the mini pinecones, not the jumbo ones, but don't worry! I've got some jumbo pinecone crafts in the works! Yippie! First, I found a frame in my stash of extra stuff I'm not using. I love that this one is square. Next I grabbed all my mini pinecones. I patiently sat there and hot glued each pinecone directly onto the glass of the frame. It was actually really easy and took me about 10 or 15 minutes. I love that you can see through the frame. And here's the back … [Read more...]
