Hookin Up with HoH #92

Happy HoH Link Party Day!! Before we begin the party I just want to mention one itty bitty thing…

Remember this artwork I made?

Lots of people have loved it, but didn’t want to actually make one for themselves, so I’ve been making, selling, and shipping these puppies all over the good ol’ U.S.of.A. Very exciting!

I had no idea a little business would pop up from creating this AWESOME (pun intended) sign. So, I’m now in the business of selling these signs if you want one. I also have a few other sign designs in the works that I’ll be adding to my brand new shop soon.

So anyway, just a head’s up that a) you can buy one, and b) I’ve started a little business on the side. Woop!

To order one click here.

Thanks for letting me self-promote for a sec. Shall we par-tay har-tay now??!! I think we shall.

** So, are you new here? I throw the Hookin’ Up with HoH Party every week to give all of you a chance to find other awesome blogs to read. Below you will find several hundred mini links to other people’s blog posts. Have fun browsing through the links in search of new ideas. Also, if you are a blogger, please feel free to add your own links to the list!

!! Any projects I feature will be pinned on My Pinterest Board for everyone to see! Follow me on Pinterest to get in on the pinning action.

* Please refrain from posting links to shops and stores.

Please note: RECIPES/FOOD is a separate link. Please make sure you are linking in the appropriate section.

Here are my favorite links from last week’s party:

I don’t know why, but I LOVE this simple easter decor with pom poms from Makoodle. It’s just so… sparkly.

I’m Busy Procrastinating painted her side table and the red is just fabulous!

Award for “most original” and “most clever” go to Melanie Ham Designs for cross stitching her iphone case. Awesomespice.

This polkadot dresser from 551 East is so charming.

The Life of CK and Nate are freaking awesome. They made a pantry using plumbing supplies and industrial stuff. Functional and freaking cool looking.

Home Transformed made a paint chip calendar. She topped it with glass so she can use wipe-off markers on it. So cool.

I’m probably the only grownup on the planet that LOVES Peeps. Not just how cute they are, but you know… eating them. Marshmallow dipped in sugar? Sign me up! So of course I couldn’t resist featuring this Peep wreath by Eclectically Vintage. If I made one I’d probably eat the whole thing.

The Stonybrook House made the coolest art for only a buck! She used a cheap pizza pan from the dollar store. Super smart!

Estante De Ideias made her own silicone lego figure mold, then used it to make little chocolate lego figures. My son would flip for this. I might just have to try it out for myself.

Happy Go Lucky not only made all these earrings, she also linked up all the tutorials so you can make them too!

I love these hand stenciled curtains from The Sweetest Digs. Painting curtains has been on my bucket list for forever. I need to just do it!

Organizing Made Fun has a post with 11 different ways to organize the back of a door. Tons of great ideas!

You are not alone in your love for peeps…..I had the same thought when I saw her wreath earlier today, “Are you kidding? I’d eat the whole thing before it got assembled!” Lol!

Congrats! I actually have had the same experience with my burlap monogram signs (http://www.sewrockin.com/2011/09/26/burlap-monogram-sign/). I started by making one as a wedding gift and then a ton of people I know started ordering them…I think I’ve sold around 15-20 already just by word of mouth! I keep meaning to get some up on Etsy. It’s kind of neat when random things like that happen. Good thing I enjoy making the signs. And I definitely enjoy the few extra dollars to fuel my craft habit! 🙂

Congrats on selling your “awesome” signs. What a cool idea!
And “Yeah!” for link parties! I have a recipe for DIY Organic Eye Makeup Remover. It only takes two ingredients-super simple and cheap. It’s very gentle on my skin and I Iove it. I hope you enjoy it, too. I put it in the crafts section, but also wondered if it should have gone in the recipes section. Shoot. I don’t know…
Anyways-thanks for hosting the party once again. Have a great day!
