Summer has officially arrived in the ATX. The kids got out last Friday! I will still be heavily involved in my blog this summer, but as you’ve probably noticed already, I will be cutting back on the posting during the summer months; I have less time to write them and you have less time to read them, so it’s a win/win, right?
I will still post several times every week, but probably more like 3 days a week instead of 4-5 days a week. The Hookin Up Par-tay will still go strong each week though so make sure you come by each Wednesday night to link up your projects and recipes.
** So, are you new here? I throw the Hookin’ Up with HoH Party every week to give all of you a chance to find other awesome blogs to read. Below you will find several hundred mini links to other people’s blog posts. Have fun browsing through the links in search of new ideas. Also, if you are a blogger, please feel free to add your own links to the list!
!! Any projects I feature will be pinned on My Pinterest Board for everyone to see! Follow me on Pinterest to get in on the pinning action.
* Please refrain from posting links to shops and stores.
Please note: RECIPES/FOOD is a separate link. Please make sure you are linking in the appropriate section.
Here are my favorite links from last week’s party:
I seriously want this exact Kindle cover from Just Another Hang Up. I have been shopping around in the handmade market and this is my favorite one so far!
My {re}urposed life teaches you how to easily make your own barn doors! She also links to her post about how to hang them.
I love these pretty polka-dot terra cotta planters from Organize & Decorate Everything.
Fab Rehab Creations made over this most unique looking bookshelf. I love the makeover as well as the actual shelf.
I must add this balloon wreath to my to-do list right this very second. Queen of My Nest shows how to create your own too-cute-for-words birthday wreath.
How cute is this little pouch from Pink Stitches? Such a sweet little bag.
Want cool colored clothes pins? So do I! And now we all know how to make them thanks to Raising Oranges‘s informative tutorial.
Potter’s Place made a huge art and frame for less than 14 bucks. And you can too with her tutorial!
Follow this shirring tutorial from Monkey See, Monkey Do! to take your shirts from boring and loose to gathered and chic!
Before & After:
Oh my word. Not only did {twenty} something upholster this ottoman, she actually MADE the whole ottoman. So cool!!!
Johnny in a Dress gave her bedroom a purdy little makeover. Lurve.
Easily make these vintage looking crates using some basic crates from the craft store. Follow the quick tutorial over at Uncommon.
