I loved all the entries last week and have enjoyed looking at all of them in my spare time.
However, this week, I’ve had hardly ANY spare time!
~House Update~
I’m currently in Austin at my parents house where I’ve been since Monday. The house we previously put an offer on (the short sale one) is not going to work out (it’s in worse shape than I thought so we backed out) and I’ve been searching like a crazy lady trying to find a home to buy.
I’ve got a few ideas, but nothing seems to be clicking for me this go-round. {sigh}
I’m headed out tomorrow for another long hot day looking at homes. Maybe I’ll find our perfect house.
Either way, I have to head back up to Dallas for the weekend to read those hunting knife reviews but I wont be able to continue any house-hunting until next week.
I should call HGTV and have them tail me while I search for homes because I’ve been to LOTS of homes! HGTV, if you can hear me, call me!
Maybe someday I’ll have a place to live again. Who knew finding a house was so painful. The other two times I’ve bought I just knew when I found my perfect house – and it was in a matter of a day or so. Third times a charm? Not so much.

I do believe, however, that God is preparing one for you and you will find it at the most perfect time.
I am sure, some of the excitement about finding a home has turned into frustration–I’ve been there.

I was actually surprised to see that you still hosted the party with all you have going on- I was just popping by for an update! You hang in there, the perfect house is waiting for you.
Sorry to hear your previous house didn’t work out – keep at the house hunting, though – I know your perfect house is out there for you! We searched for a month for our house, and viewed over 30 different homes before finding ours. So don’t get discouraged – you’ll find the one you love! đ
