Family Portrait clothes *final*

On Wednesday I begged all of you to PLEASE help me with our portraits.

Calling all Fashion experts…

You guys seriously

FREAKING ROCK!!!

53 comments. Dang!!! You guys are an opinionated group, aren’t you?!

{I love you}

The #1 most selected outfit combination was this one:

I love it too!

So I headed to the store to find clothes for Ben and I.

And I got nuthin’.

And then, it dawned on me. (Wow, I’m not the sharpest tack in the box…)

He wore this shirt last year when he had his 7 year portraits.

(Sorry for the blurry picture.)

Doh!

So in addition to me not finding anything I liked to match the orange and brown, I don’t want him wearing a shirt he already wore.

I have a black shirt that I wanted to wear, but it didn’t match your pick…

It doesn’t make it look fat, it is black so it HIDES my fat, and it will look great with some bright accessories.

So I headed to Children’s Place and ended up doing a full 180.

I decided to take the advice of my photographer (that she gave me like a month ago!) and pick everyone else’s outfit based on mine.

So essentially I ended up choosing Option #8 and declared a Clothing Crisis and went shopping. Check www.mypersonalisedclothing.com/polo-shirts for more info.

I picked this shirt out for my son:

You can buy it here.

And I chose this for my daughter:

You can buy it here.

Then I headed to Old Navy and bought my husband this shirt:

I was going to post a link, but Old Navy doesn’t seem to have it on their site.

The entire ensemble together:

I still need to IRON it all.

We will wear blue jeans with the shirts.

Also, I’m going to hit Compass Trading Co today for some accent jewelry for me that has some bright pink in it to match my daughter.

Also, if you are wondering about the BOW HEADBAND you see in this picture:

(Sitting on top of a black decor ball. :))

I made it. I’ll sell them eventually. I’ll let you know.

I’ll post the final pictures once I get them back!

Thanks everyone for all the help!!!

I like your final choice the best! Love black and hot pink together and the balance with the lightness of the boy’s selections will look wonderful together!

Your pictures will come out awesome with this combination! Another tip I read somewhere else was to match your clothing with the same colors that are in your home… that way, when you hang up your photos, it will all blend nicely.
