Wowzers ~ how exciting for the chance to guest post on House of Hepworths!  I absolutely love reading HoH, mostly for the great projects but also for expanding my vocabulary ~ my entire family now uses the phrase “awesomesauce” pretty frequently.
I’m Angie ~ wife of one amazing husband, momma of two sweet kiddos, and lover of dark chocolate and iced coffee.  I blog over at The Cellar Door Stories, where I love to write an eclectic mix about crafts, decorating, DIY projects, food, family life, frugal tips, fun stuff to do with your kids, and the occasional random tidbits……like rat cookies.

We moved into our 1961 Cape Cod going on 4 years ago, and new we would have constant home improvement projects.  My favorite BIG transformation so far has been our Laundry & Mud Room ~ believe it or not, it used to be filled with dog kennels and even a dog bathtub, and stunk to high heaven.  Seriously, we had to air it out for a year before we could even walk in without gagging…..but here’s one view of how it looks now…

Another favorite project is the Changeable Burlap Wreath…. the fabric flowers and rosettes are attached with velcro and can be changed out for each season, holiday, or any other time you feel like a change.  And helloooo……it’s burlap!  You can’t go wrong with burlap!!  Here’s the Green/Spring/St. Patty’s Day Version…

Finally, if you visit my blog, it won’t take you long to find out that I’m a cheapskate frugalista.  I love saving money wherever I can, and one of the things I love best is a good trash to treasure deal.  We bought these bookshelves…

and turned them into these handy storage shelves…..(for a lot less than you might think!)

Thanks to Allison for this fun opportunity, and I hope to see lots of you over at The Cellar Door Stories…..it would be awesomesauce!!!
